Collinite 845

Is the 845 a wax or a sealant? I guess I allways thought of it as a wax, but it is under the sealants in the AG store. The real reason I am asking is because I was wondering if there are any benifits to topping 845 with a quick spray like Aqua Wax or DP surface sheild spray or will they not bond to the 845.

FR

I am pretty sure it is a wax but it does have a chemical smell. The durability of 845 is good so I would not top it with AW until I maybe see it breaking down or the slickness going away, but I do think you will not have a bonding issue with the AW(havent tried DP). I usually use a qd with it to help the looks. Great wax and I found it easy to apply and remove.

I suppose you could class 845 as a liquid wax but a really thick one

It's probably listed under sealants because it lasts as long as a sealant.

It's a long lasting carnauba wax.

You can put AW on top but I would wait 24 hrs after the IW845.

Definately check out collinite. It's great. I used it a week ago on my wife's car and it still looks like I put it on this afternoon. It has a nice shine to it, so much so that I haven't topped it yet with AW because it looks so good. Collinite needs more hype in the looks department I think.
