Advise on Klasse Sealant Glaze

I'm new to the forum (HELLO!) and really need some advise. Here's a little about myself....
I am not a professional detailer, I am one that does my own cars, and maybe a neighbor's once in awhile. I do not have sports cars or collect cars. I drive a 2006 Silverado (white). My wife has a 1998 Explorer (white), this car is still in great shape: I am one that takes care of cars, and takes great pride in the way they look.
I just tried the Klasse "All in One", followed by the Klasse "Sealant Glaze", on my truck. I did use the Porter Cable 7424 to apply both products. I did my truck today, my other car will go next week. The weather was good (cloudy-73 degrees) and I had my truck in the garage. The "all in one" went on and off without a problem. But when I went to remove the sealant glaze, which is suppose to be easy on-easy off, It was anything but "easy off". I rubbed and buffed like crazy on the front portion of my truck, the back portion wasn't quite as bad. I put the products on very thin as well, and did one portion at a time. Can someone tell me what I did wrong, or should I have used a different product or products instead?

Klasse makes good products, and I've never had this problem myself. We will do our best to figure out what the problem was/is so it can be corrected.


First, let me ask you a few questions...


What pad were you using? And specifically, how much product did you use? Did you let "SG" haze for about 30 minutes?

If your using Klasse SG, it needs to be applied very thinny or will be like trying to remove cement, grab some of those little Alcohol Mister bottles and use that to mist a panel with one spray. Use AIO to strip again and try SG in a mister bottle now.

Something like this. Cost me $.50 at Wal-Mart. A full 2oz bottle will do about 3 cars.

Spay one squirt per panel, two for the hood.

Thanks for all the advise, I'll answer all in this at one time. First.... The spray bottle is a great idea. I'm going to get some bottles tomorrow at Wal Mart.
As for the amount I used....Very thin, I didn't put it on thick at all. But maybe that was still too thick. I did my entire truck with about 1-2 ounces total. As for the pad... I put it on with the gray pad that comes in the pad kit from Autogeek. I removed the glaze by hand with microfiber cloths. And I did let it haze up for about 30 minutes or so. Let me ask you this....Should I put it on so thin that you really can't even see that you put any product on the vehicle? The pads were from Lake Country Product, and like I said earlier...I used the gray finishing pad to apply the glaze.

2 oz lasts me about 3 cars. You most likely applied it to thick.

Re-Apply AIO with the spray bottle, remember 1 squirt per panel, two for the hood. And do the same for "SG".

Also, remember to let SG haze for at least 30 minutes, then remove.

Depending on the color and if you apply in direct sunlight, you may or may not.

On my white car in the garage I can see the product on the paint for about 30 seconds then it's about gone.


Just use the little spray bottles, and "squirt" the panel once, and hood twice. That's all the product you need. The bottle you have now, will last about 10 years.

Thanks alot!!!! As for direct sunlight...I don't detail in it. I kept the truck in the garage, plus it was also cloudy all day today. But I still don't detail outside, I keep the vehicle in the shade.
