Rain X wash & wax

Hey everyone, quick ?, A buddy of mine left some detailing products for me and one was a rain x wash and wax soap with carnauba beads. It is blue with little gold balls in it. Has anyone ever used it and if so what are your thoughts?

I have it, an old bottle, actually it's a decent wash, nothing like DG 901 or PB's SSS but nothing OTC is. Slickness is "ok" and it does foam but foam doesn't last long, leaves a decent shine which must be from the carnauba in it. Seemed gentle though, not strong on cleaning power. Meg's Gold Class is a better OTC wash than it, NXT as well but NXT is harsh.

I have only used rainX for my windshield. Their is currently a offer if you get their whiper blade yoou will get other free goodies! Their windshield stuff is good. I find it though I have to be traveling 45 mph plus. I would trust surfer on this. We might not all agree on what is best but we all agree that we all want to help each other.

Thanks surfer & koiby. I have 4 bottles of OTC soap that I somehow acquired and have'nt gotten around to using them. Your review surfer is a great help. I might use it this summer since I wash my truck every week during the season.

Yeh I've had it for awhile in the garage, still don't know how it got there as I didn't buy it lol. Then again I have 4 drills that only one of I know I bought, don't know where the other 3 came from. It's not a bad wash, but not as good as Duragloss, Poorboys, DP etc.
