| what is there to be skeptical of? the adapter will not go past the foam, it can not touch the paint, the plate it attaches to is completely covered by foam because the pads are double sided. regular backing plates pose more of a risk because thy can hit the paint on accident. the edge pads are perfectly centered at all times as well, and the wave pads remove half of the surface area of the pad lowering the chance of burning by reducing the heat. also reduces pad tension and buffer hopping. honestly if you try it or even just call up Aaron, you will be converted. |
