Where does 3M SMR and scratch-x fit in?

I am about to detail my car and I'd like to use 3Ms swirl mark remover. Now I know it has "fillers" and gives an artificial look, but nothing else has worked. Im also thinking to use scratch-x on some deep scratches and chips in my paint.

My main question is where does the SMR and scratch-x fit into my process? Before or after applying the AIO?

If I use scratch-x and then polish, will it reverse the results of the scratch-x? And will it hurt to "seal" the scratch-x into my paint?

My current process: Clay, AIO, 2 coats of SG, then some kind of carnuaba wax the next day.

Appreciate any help guys!

If you use AIO after a swirl remove (or anything that has fillers) AIO will strip the fillers right off. I would not use a chemical cleaner at all if you want to use the fillers in SMR. If you chose to use a sealant you may have bonding issue to deal with and or lower the sealant durabilty due to the fillers (oils). Are you dead set on using a sealant?

Well I usually use Klasse SG and am happy with the results.. but I'm open to anything that works.

Should I skip the sealent and go straight to the wax (24 hours later of course)

If you plan on using fillers then yes skip SG and go with a wax like Nattys for example. I normaly recomend Collinite due to there great durabilty but I think they have some cleaners/solvents that may remove some of the oils left behind from using SMR.
