DP Carpet and Upholstery

I bought a bottle of DP Carpet and Upholstery cleaner from AG and will be testing it out my brothers carpet today. I will post before and after pictures to let you folks see if it does it's job. I will be giving the exterior the same treatment which I gave my mom's X5 (see post "Finished off with WG") under the detailing forum. Check back late today or tomorrow for the pictures.

My fav still is Wolfgangs Spot Remover, it is one tuff cookie. I have used the DP with nice success but it has a chemical smell that bothers my nose, unless allowed to fully dry outside the car.

I will say a wife, a baby, and neutral interior do not go well together without interior cleaners. I also use a mixture of woolight/water on headliner with great success. Scothgard has been the savings grace in a couple of instances. Just remember to re-Scotchgard areas that have been cleaned.

It's a nice product & worked very well on my beige interior. I differ from killrwheels on the scent, however. I didn't find the scent over powering as I left my windows open as it was drying. I am on board with the woolite/water mixture. I've been using that combo for years with great success.

Well I am now finished with my bro's car. Here are some before and after shots of the carpet. I will agree with killer about the smell as it did tickle my nose a little. On a scale of 10 I would rate this product an 8. BTW if you do not already own a Metro Vac N Blow vacuum from AG PICK ONE UP! w/ the turbo hand tool. The vac works great in the car (love the micro attachments) and also around the house. I will post pictures of the exterior under Show N' Shine section.
