not really car detailling..but subwoofer detailing

This isn't really a car detailing thread but a subwoofer. Mods delete this if you would like. I just bought a used subwoofer and it has some nasty look on the sub. Anybody know what i can use to get rid of it?

Magnet and cone seem corroded/worn, don't think you can do anything.

maybe try some chrome polish? try a small spot first naturally. it really depends on what the cone is made of, if that center area is a painted surface, i assume you could treat it like any other painted surface, but i would be careful not to get anything on the rest of the cone, as for the magnet, hey its a big chunk of metal! im pretty sure you could us anything you wanted on it.
