Meguiar's wheel cleaner is acid based, and I would not use it regularly.
DP is the best for money.

It's probably not a good idea to spray it on the tire either. I can't imagine that acid is good for the rubber of the tire. I just use the DP Wheel Gel on my wheel & tire. It's nice because one bottle cleans both safely and effectively. On dirtier tires, I use Meguiar's Safe D-Greaser. It's a stronger cleaner than the DP, but still gentle enough not to damage the tire.

I heard that stuff is great for carpet cleaning. I doesn't foam, like APC does.

APC+ is an absolutetly phenominal product. It is extremely versatile.

It does work great on carpets, it does foam a little but I cant compare to APC.. Ive never used APC. I usually spray APC+ on the carpets, let set for a minute, scrub lightly by brush, then I use a Bissel LGM to clean up. Works great.
