Review: New DP Sealant

Well... Its long overdue, but here's my review of the new DP Sealant I received in the giveaway on lauch day.....

Products:

PB SSS (with some BS thrown in)
XMT2 with LC Orange Pad
New DP Sealant
DP Wheel Glaze
WG Tire Gloss
PB S&G

Decided to wash and seal the car today... Start the winterization so to speak....
Washed with PB's SSS and put in a little BugSquash as well... Love this soap!!!

I had wanted to get out some swirls first so I got out the XMT 2 and PC"ed away.
Wasnt all that happy with the results last week so I did another pass. Still helped, but I think I need to perfect my process some. Im a newbie with polishing.

Applied DP Sealant with blue MF applicator. Goes on EXTREMELY EASY and with the MF applicator is extremely simple to get a nice thin layer...
Let dry approx 45 minutes to an hour. Removed with Cobra Superplush. Came off incredibly easy!!!! SO MUCH EASIER THAN EX-P. Whether it lasts as long as EX-P time will tell....

Used DP Wheel Glaze. Im still trying to figure out how to use this product properly. The instruction on the tin say to spray the wheels with water and apply... so that means put on while wet? OK... did that... It has a messy appearance but I let it dry for a little while and removed with a MF. Came off... But seems difficult to remove

WG Tire Gel and the clam shell applicator (from AG) to dress tires....

Here's some crappy pics.. started losing light.. sorry....

What do you mean "crappy pics"? That Sonata looks great!! Nice shine to it. Love the "pop" of the metallic flakes on that hood shot. Tires are nice and shiney. Looks good, Aceshigh!!

Very nice...

*mysterious voice says to top with maxwax/souveran / nattys blue for even more drool worthy appearance*

Very nice man. Youll get the hang of the pc soon enough. Look at the video on autogeeks XMT page. I go by that except I work in a little slower on speed 5, and not as much pressure. The longer steady working time seems to do wonders with these polishes.

Good job! Great shine and reflection. I too used the DP Sealant and was very pleased with it. As you said, it removes easily.

I've used the DP Wheel glaze a few times and I too find it difficult to remove. It seems like no matter how hard I try I miss spots when the wheels have moved. I did not know about spraying the wheels with water first. I'll have to read the label! Despite the fact that it is hard to remove it does seem to make the wheels easier to clean after.

Again, the car looks great!

Looks beautiful. I reminds me that I need to try the new DP sealant myself. Tires look great. I myself love Wolfgang tire gel. It gives me exactly what I want and lasts about 2 weeks.
By the way, I would apply a second coat of sealant, let it cure for 12 hours, only then top it off with carnauba of your choice. That should make sure it lasts for a while.

Once again, great job. I love the reflection!.

I use the DP Wheel Sealant dry ... never read the directions. No problem with removal, buffs right up.

I use mine on dry wheels as well. It not an easy off product (Max Wax is easier to remove), be sure to use 1005 terry towel, or microfiber towel, while working OUT of direct sunlight and you should be fine. Mist wheels with WATER (Not a QD), if you have a hard time removing the product.
