your not supposed to apply it wet, your supposed to rinse with a strong jet of water. then they are supposed to be cool( i think dryness should also be inferred here) and you then apply a thin coat. it comes off easy when you apply dry

I'm too lazy to do my own review and don't mean to hi jack your thread. I used DP sealant for the first time last Thursday. It was pretty amazing and the slickness was as good as any sealant I've used including UPP, DuraGloss and Zaino. I don't know anything about it's durability at this point but I really quite liked the look though I turned around and topped it with #16 and then Souveran. I would use this stuff again in a heart beat. My truck is officially ready for winter. Let it snow.

the directions on the tin say "Spray with a strong stream of water. Wheels should be cool to the touch. Apply with an applicator....... blah blah...."
I tried it dry a few weeks ago..... and then re-read the container this time....

Its a serious chore to remove either way..... maybe once you get one coat on the wheels its easier to remove? So far Im not liking this product....

The DP Sealant on the other hand is excellent. I do plan on getting at least 1 more coat on it before I top it with either NB or MW.

Thanks for the kind words... those pics are very generous because of the lighting. I was hoping to get some in the sun, but it was hiding behind some trees by the time I was done....

i use the wheel glaze on my car too. the first time i tried it i thought it sucked, it was a real pita. but it seems that if you keep on top of it, its easier to apply. i do it to dry wheels and i think the key is thin coats, and i also remove it just before its fully dried
