Am i on the right track

2005 dark blue
normal swirls from washing
goal is to remove swirls and winter protection in New England

The wife and I gave the car a super wash
wash
rinse
wash/clay..mothers #80
rinse
50/50 wash /dry
into the garage so its ready to detail in the am. Going down to 27 tonight

1..Going to start with XMT2/ lc orange as I think that will do the trick then down to #1 with white pad

2..AOL white pad

3..?? not sure to use KSG or DP surface shield 1 or 2 coats

4.. top with Liq Souv or P21s Thanks

If you're looking for long term protection for the winter go with the SG. It will last you months! The DP although may be better in looks, will not give you the same durability as the SG.

Im leaning toward KSG too, need alittle more patience with it but its worth the time for protection....Gets to cold here to wash , besides you cant see the shine with snow on the car every couple of days.

Well.. XMT 2 removed all the swirls after I tryed a little more pressure. decided to skip #1, looked great.so I took a break before applying AOL. I got caught up reading a post about using a spray bottle with KSG,...That worked great and then I realized I never put on the AOL. I dont think its the end of the world if I just wait overnight and remove the KSG and top with wax , or do I have a problem.
