Question Ok here is the deal

Take it easy on my I'm still learning..........
I'll give you my line up and tell me what to use and in what order please.
I have a new 2006 Black Xterra Only had it for about 2 months very light swirls on it and thats it.

I have
Megs #83
Megs hard cut cleaner (for my dads car)
Megs NTX tech wax liquid
Megs #7
DP's New surface shield
I'm thinking the 83 is to much and need some light swirl remover like #80 or another brand. Some XMT 1 or something....... Any suggestions here?

Can I put the NTX over the DP sealant?
Thanks for the advice guys!!

I think you can put the NXT wax over the DP Sealant, but my recommendation is to apply a second coat of the DP sealant instead.

I would go with just the sealant instead of topping with the NXT. The NXT has some cleaning ability and might remove the sealant underneath. Don't use the #7 before the sealant either. The XMT line is excellent. It can be used in the sun and it won't stain your trim the way that Meg's does.

So the XMT like would be good to go over teh DP sealant. ? if not whats a good wax you guys would recommend then. I just bought the NXT but if it's not a good idea what would you suggest.
And I know some will suggest souveran but that is waaaaaaaaaaaay out of my budget. Maybe Natty blue??
I'm kinda looking for best bang for buck. But don't want white messy goo left all over my trim.
Thanks....

DP Max Wax is my favorite middle priced carnauba, you get a lot of applications out of the one jar, since it applys so thin.

+1 for Max wax. BTW XMT are polishes not waxes. They are for removing swirls. The NXT has a decent shine to it, but I have found that it changes the color on my vehicle. I have a medium blue metallic paint and when I apply NXT paste it looks great at first, but then the next day it looks like a different car. My metal flakes are all muted and the color looks bland. I also find it difficult to remove. I cannot comment on the NXT liquid version however as I haven't tried it. If you are going to apply the NXT then I wouldn't use the sealant before hand, just go with the wax. I hope this helps you. What kind of paint is it? Is it flat or metallic or pearl?

ooooh Flat black, I would love to see it in the sealant topped with a nuba. I think you should go with the DP sealant and the max wax or natty's blue. I think you would be very happy with the results.
