Your more than welcome to visit. Washing / Drying properly will not lead to swirls. A hard clearcoat also helps. Cannot control deep scratches and chips from a daily driver, but I can control washing/claying/polishing/protection.

I would totally come visit if it wasent an 8 hour plane ride haha. but ya i see the pic and it looks good... i think thats my problem is the washing and drying.. my polishing is for the most part correct but ya i could see the washing being a problem.. do you think water blades are bad for drying over a microfiber towel or shammy?

I tried the water blade, don't like it. I use a WW microfiber towel (2 sometimes 3) and a leaf blower.

A leaf blower is the way to go! I purchased the Air Wand and it is great! I follow it up with a WW and some QD on any spots that I miss.

washing -- straight lines, not circles. Lots of soap. Clean mitts ...

drying --- leaf blower, intentionally leave a little damp. Spray with qd'er+ (Quikshine, CM, 425, Spray/Gloss) and wipe with Guzzler. Thus using the additional lubricants in qd'er to keep towel gliding versus rubbing finish.

Water blade --- works well in the shower.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. I will try those methods for sure and maybe get a foam master gun.

foam guns help ...as you can presoak. Just remember to use at least one bucket of water, and still wash mitt/towel out after each panel. I change water at 1/2 way point and spray down finish again

Yea i would only use the foam gun for a presoak... i think it is my mit that is the problem. Because I just use the mit we wash all the cars with at work.. I dont think its sheepskin of microfiber, so that would explain a lot.

even one good microfiber towel (like the new purple ones) would offer a world of good in reducing swirls. Just keep it away from the ground, and clean with other similar towels.
