Sealant, glaze, polish, diffs?

What's the difference between a sealer, a glaze and a polish?

What's best and why?

polish is abrasive and removes imperfections in the paint( swirls and scratches)
glaze fills in these things so the surface looks polished but its really not, just filled in.
sealant is a synthetic wax that lasts 3- 6 months for protection, much like a carnauba wax except carnauba looks better and wont last nearly as long as a sealant.

In real world sealant (Zaino lasts 4 month) lasts around 7-8 weeks. Per label, it's 3-6 months.
Carnauba lasts around 4 weeks. Per label it lasts 8-10 weeks.

sealant --- a synthetic wax, designed to coat and protect a finish from the elements.

polish --- an abrasive paste used to help in removing swirls and other defects in paint. Vary from light (finishing) to very aggressive (compound).

glaze --- a true glaze is a product that contains oils and fillers to be used prior to a wax. It hides minor flaws and adds wetness to a paints finish but has no protection.

But as you can see each manufacturer uses these terms loosely to try and set their product apart. You must read the description and carefully put it into its true place within your paint cleaning regimine.

Wash ---- Clay --- Polish --- Glaze (optional) ---- protect
