Wiper arms

Are wiper arms still metal? Or are they metallized plastic? Metallized rubber? Does anyone know? (2007 Camry I'm asking about)

What should I use to detail wiper arms? Klasse AIO, or the 303 Aerospace?

Any suggestions?

Thanks as always for the great advice!

AFAIK wiper arms are painted metal. It may be some sort of rubberized paint, but I don't think so. I just seal mine with some Wolfgang Sealant. Klasse AIO would work well though I'm sure.

I also use DP sealant.

If I ever get any kind of bug buildup on the wiper arms I'll rub some AIO, wipe it off and then put on some DP Sealant.

Mine still look pretty new ... I wipe them with Quikshine, 425, Aquawax, or whatever qd'er I am using while drying. I believe they are a type of aluminum and easy to bend.

Thanks, y'all. I just used AIO on them, but DP Sealant is on my list of new toys to get when I make my next order.
