The purpose of the pre-wax is to remove surface oils and contamination that washing alone doesn't remove. Consider it as a primer for the sealant. Liquid Souveran and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant are like brother and sister. Both are very easy to use. I bet they both have the same polymers.
