I purchased a DP wheel kit that included two foam applicators. I think they are these:

They work great and have held up well. I just used the second one for the first time this weekend and I really did not need to becuase the other one still works fine.

I have two pinn green mf app pads that I use, I don't clean them, I just let gel keep soaking in, it seems to help spread easier, I keep them in a pastic container.

These work well. I've used one for a couple of months now(probably 100+ applications and it's just now starting to come apart a little. I was probably too agressive when applying gels initially, so you could probably get even more out of them than that. Terry cloth applicators will probably last the longest.

Red face

I've used this one for almost two years & other than the foam coming unattached (re-glued it with "Goop"), it's still working great!!

To keep my hands clean, I just slip the plastic bag that the daily paper comes in on rainy days over my hand & arm.

You're such a classy chick, Norah! :P Always a lady. I never thought about using plastic over my arm to keep my hands clean. I just let them get all nasty and then just wash my hands! I'll bet your cuticles are in much better shape than mine.
