| | | Just got back from a car show... I just got back from a car show here in Austin, TX, and I couldn't believe what I saw. The most beautiful 1960s and 1970s muscle cars were all on display, along with Ferraris and other exotics. Some rain started coming down, but not for too long. So of course, everyone wanted to dry their vehicles off.
I don't think I saw ONE person using proper materials. I saw a guy dry off his dirty, dingy towel on some BUSHES before picking it up and wiping down his 550 Maranello.
Some people... |

| | | I wish I had my camera with me. I'm going out and buying one of these Samsung D807s pretty soon, that way I always have one handy for moments like these!!!
I was coming back from getting my hair cut when I saw the car show and popped in for about an hour. |

| | | LOL Killer you crack me up! That is hard to believe that somebody who cares enough about their car to do all of that work and preparation for a car show would use a dirty nasty towel like that on his paint. Truly astounding! I'm pretty confident that that guy didn't win best of show!

| | | I just returned from the Jaguar Concours in Dallas. After I get my results I'll post pictures and fill you in on some details. However, let me just confirm what P1et saw is similar to what I saw at my event. I did not see a single MF, except for mine. I saw lots of cotton rags, towels, and even paper towels! Everyone used Meg's QD and I saw lots of windex bottles!
I was shocked. Next year I want to set up a booth to sell some decent products!

| | Well, how did your Jag look in comparison to the others? Were any comments made about your paint/detail? Maybe you got get some products from AG to sell, but certainly set up something that has www.autogeek.net on it with some phone numbers......AT LEAST! I have to admit, that's the same otc stuff I used before discovering AG this year! Now I'm anal about my finish and my car in general. |
