First Timer Advice: PC + M80+ Edge 2000

Hi Gang,

Well I got my PC Tuesday. I have M80 and Tech Wax. UPS will be delivering my Edge 2000 kit Tomorrow!!!!!!!

I washed and clayed my car this evening.

What color Edge 2000 pads should I use for the M80 and the Tech Wax?

I'm ready to go as soon as they come in!!!!!

Well we dont know what the finish looks like , nor shape, so :

I would start with a medium pad, and M80 with PC on speeds over 5. Continue to polish until the polish flashes well. It almost looks like talc, and Megs is a little dusty. You might need to move to a more abrasive pad for swirls, or a lower abrasive pad for finishing/gemming/jeweling the surface.

If everything goes well, remember NXT has some light filling ability. You can go to it and use a finishing pad. Speed around 3-4 on the PC. This step will be easiest and you should probably remove it with a microfiber as possible.
