AL-53, Sorry for dumb question but what does APC stand for? Once you tell me I will try what worked for you, Killr, I purchased them from Waynes Towels, and they are supposed to be a special towel for windows, because of the weave, I believe. They are not, however, waffle weave. The sad thing is they worked so good. I will hold out hope as long as AL-53 had the same problem and then corrected it. No matter what from now on the window washing towels get washed A lone.

Dinky..all purpose cleaner....I have good luck with "orange blast" and Purple Power but any should work,,...can be found at wally world or Pep Boys...both cut wax good....I also spray my pads with this and wax applicators...gets them clean...breaks down the product...

As said above should work. What I do also is put all my micros in my buckets full of hot water and mix of a little Tide Liquid free and Vinegar, but I spray the towels beforehand with a degreaser (believe it or not Simonize at friggen Big Lots is pretty damn good). Never a problem with streaking, and even my micros that get dirtier from whee;s or just in general have almost no stains to them (stains don't really affect them though...just saying).

yes..it should..it is strong stuff..try it...let us know how you make out..hope this works for you.....but remember...every so often..go swish the towels around..squeeze them some..to force any thing out if there is anything on them..

try a couple at first..and then wash them in washer and dry..to make sure it works for you...

good luck...

Al

I'm sure that this goes without saying but don't use any kind of fabric softener or dryer sheets with you MF's.

yes..I forgot..but Gearhead didn't...do not use anything detergent with softners in it...I use Tide clear..no dye..no perfume..no softners...and my towels come out soft as a babies butt...I air dry also...in case dryer has softner residue in it..from those sheets the girls put in to have pretty smelling clothes...

I just based my process on my little bit of experience in the detail world and also on articles by Leo (owner and manufacturer) at DF Towels.
