What is the process of IA wipedown?

Was going to get the car ready for the winter over Thanksgiving. Was going to wash the car and wipe off all of the old wax and sealant but how is that done? Not sure of the actual logistics of removing old wax. I use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol to water, do you just use a mitt to wipe the car? Do I need to rinse the mitt to wash off old wax?

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) - fill a fine misting spray bottle with a 8:1 ratio of Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) / distilled water solution spray the paint surface, leave it to dwell for 30-45 seconds, agitate before wiping the paint surface with a clean, dry 100% cotton towel

Doing a 50/50 these are the steps I take:
Menzerna Power Finish, let it haze, then remove with Microfiber Towel
Using a spray bottle with 50/50 mixture spray entire car let is set for a few minutes, then using a clean MF Towel begin wiping it down,
( I always rewash the car, guess that could be optional)
then using either Blue or Red Lake Country Pad apply Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 let that haze, then remove the Wolfgang. Let it cure for at least 12 hours
Final, Apply Pinnacle Soveran Paste, let it haze and then remove with MF Towel
Results, Spectacular and Amaxing !!

Re: What is the process of IA wipedown?

Here's what I do:

1.) Wash the car as normal.

2.) Dry the vehicle as normal without worrying to be too thorough.

3.) Mix 60:40 alcohol:water in a spray bottle and shake. I know that the rule is 50:50 but I like to be biased towards the alcohol for the most thorough wax removal.

4.) Grab a microfiber towel, spray a 2x2 area several times and wipe the alcohol on the area.

5.) Flip the towel to wipe the surface dry. Do the entire vehicle like this.

I actually do that process and then do it a second time to make sure that I didn't miss any spots. After that, I wipe down the whole paint with Meg's Quick Detailer to pickup any remaining alcohol:water residue and to restore the gloss of the paint, and as a final prep to make the paint ready for wax.
