Question Am I doing this right?

I asked this on the other forum, but realized two things: 1) I was jacking someone else's topic and 2) it was the Intro forum..so I'm reposting here. There are obviously a lot of really smart and knowledgeable people here and I'm looking for some help.

I use (or have) the following products and am not sure if I'm using them correctly.
1) Wash/Dry - pretty easy first step
2) Pinnacle Clay
3) XMT series #4, #3, #1 - based on scratches, swirls, etc.
4) XMT Finishing Glaze
5) Blitz Carnauba wax - got this product as a recommendation

I also have 3M IHG, but have only used it once after washing, then finished with the Blitz. Last item is XMT360 that I used once and followed with Blitz.

Am I doing this right or am I screwing something up? Also, are there other products that I need to or should be using instead?

HELP!!!

Re: Am I doing this right?

Thanks Killr....a few other questions:

1) What is a sealant and how is it different than the stuff I'm using?
2) Do I need to use a "paint cleaner" at any point?
3) I still have some scratches on my trunk and roof that didn't come out using the XMT#4 and orange CCS pad. Any other options besides wet sanding (which I'm scared to try)? I may just have a professional do some correction then I'll maintain.

Thanks again...everyone's feedback is appreciated by me and, more importantly, my car!!!

Re: Am I doing this right?

Hey A6,
I use different products, but it looks like you got it right. Zymol has a product called HD-Cleanse. I use it before putting the coat of wax on.
Maybe Pinnacle sells something similar.
Hope this helps.
