new clear lense care

I just bought new LED tailights for my Escalade and dually . They have a clear lense cover and I want to do something to help preserve them . I have the WG Plastik Lens Cleaning System , the lenses are new and don't need cleaning just protecting . so should I just glaze them and then use sealant ?

I have used Plexus over my new taillamps and headlamps without issue since new. They are still perfect and new looking. DP makes a version called Plex All also.
