duragloss question

I recently started using the DG line. My white work truck catches alot of abuse and detailing a 1 ton isn't something I really look forward to , but I try to keep it looking nice.

I chose to use 601 followed by 501. Im really happy with the results so far.

Has anyone else used this combo? Most folks seem to be following the 601 with 105 or 111 , or following 501 with 105.

The 601 works with any DG polish...if your happy the way it looks..then stick to it....501 cleans white paint like no other product I used..brings white to a new level..

501 is a very durable product....if it holds up on Boats in the water 24 hours a day..or just a dunk in the water weekly..it will hold up on your paint....get the Marine Detailer...use after a weekly wash..and then AW monthly..your all set then

Re: duragloss question

I am happy with the looks. I was hoping the 601 -501 combo would last longer than 501 alone. Do you find this to be so?

the 601 is suppose to add to the durability.....the residue thats left on the paint reacts with the sealant and I was told helps produce a harder top coat...It works for me in the winter...I use 601 with 105 and lasts the winter easy for me....

601 with 501 lasted on the Honda also all winter

Re: duragloss question

When I bought the 601 I thought it was only a prebonding agent. After using it and seeing how black the app. pad got I realized it has really good cleaning properties. After much reading I see others have commented on the cleaning ability of 601.

I went with 501 because of it's super cleaning ability.

I'm wondering now if I use the 601 first with it's cleaning ability is there any benifit of 501 over 105 ?

501 with 111 works for me on my 94 white lincoln. The 111 added a wetter look
