Optimum protectant plus streaking plastic

I was using some of the new formula OPP today and it looks great on my dash - however it lightly streaked on my plastic pieces. I know I can take off the residue with a damp MF, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue?

It can't absorb into plastic so that's probably normal on slick, hard surfaces. Just give it time to dry and buff the residue away. I even find that Meg's QID does that and it's pretty thin.
