RMG or DWG?

In a recent post someone asked to compare RMG to Megs Show Car Glaze and it was fairly one sided to RMG. So is RMG preferred over what I thought to be the preferred glaze DWG?

Re: RMG or DWG?

just for another option, i just tried pb black hole glaze and really like that. It has some cleaners and fillers and really deepens the paint. DWG is awesome though too, really looks wet and you can use it before or after any sealant or wax.

Re: RMG or DWG?

The benefit to DWG is that it has no cleaners, so you can use it over your LSP and then top it.

RMG, BHG, EZ Creme Glaze, and Amigo are other fine glazes, but these have mild cleaners, so using them over an LSP can remove it. It's all a matter of what you want to do.

Re: RMG or DWG?

DWG is going to end up being a flavor of the month, IMO. RMG has been out for a long time and many people like it as a glaze. I don't use glazes all that often but PB has 2 different glazes which I use.

Re: RMG or DWG?

One Grand omega glaze is good too. Also, it has no cleaners.

Re: RMG or DWG?

DWG is an acrylic glaze meant to be compatible with waxes or sealants whereas RMG is oil based and meant to be topped by a carnauba.

However, I've read of a few sealants that work fine with oily glazes--EX-P, EX, Wolfgang. I've yet to try RMG with any sealant, though.

Re: RMG or DWG?

Thanks for the response guys. I believe there are more than enough reasons to have both in my arsenal.

Re: RMG or DWG?

I too think the DWG is hype and likely the current "go to " product. Considering its a rebottled product from ##, theres likely more than several offerings by other names too.

I know ... I know , its different. Color and smell maybe !
