Red face Something other than Menzerna IP?

I tried IP on two cars and apparently I'm just not good with it. I didn't remove many swirls and the product clumped up on me or dried out really fast. I'm sure it's "User Error".

Until I get the hang of detailing, is there a product for medium swirls/scratches like IP or SIP that is easier to work with for a newbie like me? I thought about PB 2.5. . .

Thanks!

Re: Something other than Menzerna IP?

you might like Megs #83 DACP. I would still use Menzerna personally however.

What do you think of SSR 2.5?

Re: Something other than Menzerna IP?

SSR 2.5 is ok, more than ok really, but needs 1.0 also to finish it up as will leave some micromarring. I offer the Poorboys kit quite often in the corvetteforum as easy to use and nice results.

Re: Something other than Menzerna IP?

Easy to use is what I'm really concerned about at this point. After I'm more comfortable, I'll give IP or SIP another shot.

Is the Megs #83 easy to use also? Which do you prefer? Would I need a finishing polish after the Megs too?

Sorry for all the questions. . .

83 DACP is quite easy to use, and nice results too. It does dust a bit more the the SSR twins. XMT 3 and 1 is another choice too.
