| | | Waiting period to top sealant with wax? I was just wondering if I have to wait for a sealant to cure(12 hrs) before I top with a wax? Thanks for your input |

What sealant are you using? If you are using something that you feel needs a wax topper in order for it to look better, you might want to look at a new sealant. I top UPP, Detailer's Pride, and Klasse with carnauba, but Wolfgang stands alone. The only thing I ever top Wolfgang with is more Wolfgang. |

| | | Yes, WG is great and does look great alone.
I have topped sealants w/ nubas right afterwards numerous times with no ill effect I have been aware of, but by all means wait the sealer cure time out, usually 12-24 hours.

| | | Ok, the DP Shield Shine was on for approximately 16 hrs before it got wet from rain. Do you think I'm ok or do I need to reapply? Thanks. |

| | | It should be fine, but might as well add another layer!

| | | I would wait 24 hrs. I have become anal about keeping it dry during that time if I am not using a garage, I would do it in the morning to keep the dew from hindering the curing of sealants. I do not worry about the wax as much on the cure. |
