Amazing... the current stuff I use is a wally world special. I KNOW it's harsh... even says on the bottle no more than 30 seconds on the rim and I still have to scrub them.

Recommendations on what should I put on the rim (polish? or wax?) once it's clean that would make clean up easier in the future?

Every single cleaner Ive used such as Meguiars Wheel Cleaner and the other one I mentioned in my first post all say not to leave it on longer then 30 seconds. But they dont do ####.

DP Wheel Glaze or Poorboys Wheel Sealant. (you can use any sealant in a pinch, I like AIO) Then all you need is water and car soap to clean. Once a month use the Spray/Rinse and reapply the sealant.

Can you also use Poorboys Natty's Paste wax? Out of the three, what will give a better shine? Ive got black rims with a polished lip.

waxes will not last long in such a hot place (wheels can get to 400 degree in radiant heat) so stick with a sealant.

Killr is right. I use the PB Wheel cleaner and there is no need for scrubbing. It was amazing how clean the wheels becuase. I still have some small black pitting in a couple of spots, but I thnk the only way to get rid of that is to refinish the wheels. Then I tried the DP Wheel glaze and I am equally impressed with it. Now I just use soap and water to clean my wheels as the glaze keeps th wheels from getting a dirty as they did without the glaze.

I highly recommend both products.

thanks, but if it needs another roof replacement (4 panels in six months) then she's gone ! Maybe I'll pickup an STS-V for a couple years.
