Re: Duragloss sealants

If you ask them to get the 105 in for you, they should only take a day or two to get it. The one near me does. Or just order it from here!

Re: Duragloss sealants

You can order from AG or Duragloss themselves. 111 is a good DG sealant

Re: Duragloss sealants

101..105...501.111..105 are all sealants....they call them polishes ..its a old school term.....

501 is a Marine type sealant with heavy cleaners...it cleans paint like crazy...but also has a sealant ..has a very glossy wet look...and very durable ....I use it alot for cleaning paint and also a base for topping of either a wax or sealant...

101...is a cleaner type also....has a wet look and cleans paint..I would say it will last 3 months on paint....

105....it has a very mild cleaner...its a mix of a polymer and synthetic resin to mimic a waxed look..its a wet warm look...not as glossy as the others..but still very nice look....thier most durable product and 501 being close to the same durability....I go all winter with 105 on the paint and still going come spring...

111 is thier more of a pure type sealant...very little cleaning action...has a high gloss look like Klasse SG....3 months durability...

All are very nice products...and all slick as grease...but the slickest product is Track Klaw.....it has a real nice look...but it is so slick its crazy...I do not know about durability as I just started playing with it this year...but its crazy slick...just hosing it with plain water gets the car clean....

Re: Duragloss sealants

I would top the 501 with 105. You can order directly from them; they have a flat rate of shipping of only $5.00

well 501 is a strong cleaner....much more than KAO....its not really layerable per say...as it may remove some of the underlying coat...but you can do 2 coats to ensure full coverage...

yes it does last close to 105 ....105 and 501 have a different look....501 being a high type gloss....and 105 having a warmer look like a carnauba...

now if you can top top with 105 or you can do a collinite wax like 915 over the 501 for a very nice look....and then use AW to maintain it ....that will get you till fall easy ....

thanks again AL,
could 501 be dangerous to paint since its a really strong cleaner?is there something i should be careful about?

its not dangerous to the paint at all ...its a chemical type cleaner....many here used it with very good results...its paint safe...its made for paint and gel coats...I use it all the time...its my go to paint cleaner..and sealant on heavy trucks....works like a champ
