Re: I got my stuff/ couple questions

Is your 7424 noisy too ? Yes they are!Does it make huge vibration on 6 ? Like its hard to keep in ur hands. They do vibrate a bit, you will get use to it... or your hand will go numb

Whats the white small pad that came with porter cable ? I only use it to put a bonnet over when using a MF Bonnet

Shiping was very fast, Everything came in great shape// i am extremely happy
Glad everything arrived timely and safe.

Re: I got my stuff/ couple questions

Cool

But i really need someone to answer my last question about sealant.

And is 12oz of lubricant enough to clay bar whole car including glass ?

Can i clay bar wheels ?

I am gonna ask couple more questions tommorrow once i start.

Thanks

STEPS :

ANY COMMENTS ?
1) Clean the wheels
2) Wash the car
3) Clay bar whole car including glass.
4) Wash again
5) Dry the car using WW towel
6) Use KAIO on gray finishing pad at speed 3-4 (Porter Cable)
7) Use xmt #2 with orange cutting pad, 2 x 2 area at a time. Use speed 3-4 to spread out and then put on 6 to break it down (Audi paint 6 or 5 ? )
8) Use xmt #1 with white polishing/cutting pad. 3-4 to spread out and 5 to break down.
9) Use KAIO with gray finishing pad again
10) Use KAIO on glass and wheels
11) Apply glaze with PC at speed 3-4 using finishing pad.
12) Apply UPGP sealant.
13) Use 303 protectant on plastic and rubber trims.

For claying i actually use the hose.if theres dirt spots in the paint or rough spots that wont smoothen out then i use a QD or in ur case u can use ur clay lube.As for the KAIO id use a white pad.and in step 9 r u useing it again on the paint?if so u dont need to use it a second time.As far as useing xmt on certain speeds it just depends on the condition of ur paint and what u want to achieve.as ull see people say time and time again go with the least aggressive pad combo first then work u way to more aggressive if needed.
