Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

Poorboy's spray and wipe.
marring would be scratches, swirls and other paint imperfections. usually caused by poor wash techniques, drying techniques or poor polishing.

DP final gloss is also a nice QD wax booster for less money.
same three here.

Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

I use the cobra waffle weave drying combo from autogeek to dry and some other micro fibers to do that wipe down. I did scratch the paint a little getting rid of this crap( went through a construction area and think it was some kind of concrete) i will get that out with some polish. I dont think i have any marring.

so we have -

-souveran spray wax
-PB spray and wipe
-crystal mist
-dont touch it in between

Also thanks for everyones comments so far. Question to black car owner or dark color owners how do you keep it shinning and looking clean? Does any use wheel wax?

Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

both of our cars are black. i am very careful washing and drying not letting either get TOO dirty before hand washes. Don't use anything except spray and wipe for the random bird bombs. Use very good MFs and wash all after one use (mitts too). I use a metro blower to remove most of the water after rinsing to keep down the need to dry with a towel. Park inside if at all possible.
Clay twice a year and polish about once a year. Stay away from lawn sprinklers!
I use optimum OS on all wheels. Fast and works nicely.
If you know you have concrete on your car this is only one product I know if to help remove it.

you are talking about the poorboys spray and wipe right. I was using the WG spritz to help remove that. Didnt work to well ended up scrathing the paint a little. How our poorboys products?

PBSW works great for light cleaning/dust. It won't remove concrete.
I like PBs soap a lot. The wheel cleaner, bug squash, spray and gloss are also good. WG spritz is a QD that is best for after wash.

Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

I finish the wg spritz so i was looking for a replacement or refill. Should i get a spray wax to help keep the shine in between the paste? I believe i am getting the poor boys spray and wash and possibly the squash.

souveran spray wax is nice if you are using it over a wax. Maybe the new OCW (I have only used the older version). Very easy to apply and probably more durability than souveran spray.

Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

so many decisions. I need a good bug spray, so thanks for the poor boys, and will get the spray and wash also. I just need to decide on what to do to keep the shine going after the souveran paste wax or the wg paint sealant

Re: Inbetween waxes and washes...advice please

Tonight i looked at my car closley and i noticed marring. I am not sure if its from using the PC the first time with xmt (#2 orange page, finishing glaze grey pad) or from dusting or drying or washing. I have an 07 altima and some people are saying i have a hard clear coat. i bought the light swirl kit (xmt/pc). What does everyone recommend. I see some swirls and some marks that didnt come out last time but it was my first time. Should I do #2 white pad and then #1 white pad then the glaze, wg paint sealant and then wait then sourvan paste?
