What do you recommend for cleaning and restoring chrome trim?

very good question .... metal polishes are usually much to harsh for plastic coated trim. I usually use an AIO on it and seal/cover with wax or sealant for addtl protection.

Re: Chrome trim

Its real chrome. It is on my 94 Lincoln Mark VIII it is the trim around the tail lights and the front grille.

Re: Chrome trim

I'd try DG 501 1st and then if it still needs more, any light rubbing compound will do. follow up with DG 105 or any long-duration sealant.

Re: Chrome trim

Should I apply 105 by hand or with the PC?

I would start with 501 by hand and then seal with 105 by hand also. Sorry for the delayed response.
