Not really. I had to go to alot of different deparment stores to find which 5 gal bucket worked with the grit guard. Like if you find a bucket thats too small. Then the grit guard doesn't reach the bottle, but holds the grit from floating and if you find one with a big bottom, then the grits guard going to float to the top.

mine seems pretty universal to standard paint bucket types. I get the bucket at local hardware store for 2 bucks. Obviously it works in the Pinnacle Bucket/Dolly system too.
