Re: Grit Guard , any ole bucket?

Homer Bucket (Home Depot) works for me.

I use one bucket as just a rinse bucket. And the soap bucket has two grit guards in it.

The wash mitt, or in my case, a micro fiber cloth, goes from the soap bucket to the car, then into the rinse bucket, then back to the soap bucket. And the water in the rinse bucket is changed several times during a wash. And even with all that rinsing, there is still a small amount of dirt scum at the bottom of the soap bucket after a wash.

Re: Grit Guard , any ole bucket?

well i bought 2/5gal buckets from Lowes and the grit guard only goes down a tad more than half way. i guess i should have gotten the GG first then i could have taken it with me bucket shopping. naturally i tossed the receipt to. oh well i can still use it ill just have to fill the rinse bucket almost to the brim

I got a bucket from Lowes and the grit guard goes down to the bottom. It's the one with the easy grip handle.

Re: Grit Guard , any ole bucket?

I use a 5 gallon spackle bucket. If you know any builders you might be able to get one for free.
