Cobra Buffing bonnets

I need some feed back on what circumstances you would use the Cobra terry cloth buffing bonnet and when you would use the Cobra Microfiber bonnet? This last time that I polished and waxed I took the polish off with a mf towel and then used a microfiber bonnet and then after the wax I used a terry bonnet to take the wax off and then finished with the microfiber bonnet. some where in there I ended up putting scratches in the paint. They appear pretty much surface scratches but I sure don't want that to happen again!! Thanking you for your thoughts in advance!!

it's probably because of the terry bonnet. I've never liked terry cloth for this reason. 100% MF for my baby's finish.

Yeah, only time I use terry anymore, which is rare, is if I am applying a paint cleaner by hand.
