Who's gone the LSP or the Sealant?

How do you know when the sealant needs to be reapplied? How do you know it's just not your sacrifical lamb, the lsp, that needs to be reapplied? Are you just assuming months have past it most likely is gone?

Howard

Generally, I end up reapplying more often than is necessary anyway... but, when the paint stops beading, you know there's no protection. Also, it's handy to keep in mind what type of longevity is "normally" observed from whatever protection products you choose and make sure to reapply before that period is over.

Simple in my case: I have stopped using wax when I use sealant. I use UPGP for sealant and do not top it off with wax, just reapply another coat of sealant.

I replace a wax final coat every 4 weeks. I replace a sealant every 2 months. Zaino gets 3 months. Usually I watch beading, reflection, and gloss as indicators any/all might be starting to wear out. Using a good spray wax or qd'er+ can also add longevity to both when needed.
