clay question

have any of you used the paintwork clay pad applicator? i would like some feedback on how well/bad this works. as well as any tips anyone has picked up from using it. also what clay bar works well with this pad? i am looking to really step things up so i need to start claying all cars. it just takes to long by hand. thanks for any and all advise.

Re: clay question

I used it but felt it was unnecessary as you lose the tactile feel of the clay on paint and areas needing some additional work. (ie. dont always notice the light studders)

Re: clay question

Never saw a use for it. I mean your going to need to take the clay off to kneed it anyways, and then like he was saying you would loose much of the feel on what is going on in the claying process. To me, claying isn't a laboring process tow here I would need a tool for it.
