Power Gloss

I am not familiar with Menzerna Power Gloss and its abilities . After I wet sand fresh paint down to 2000 grit , will Power gloss be the product to use with a rotary ? If not please suggest best method .

Re: Power Gloss

I use it on really really neglected paint, it works magic, and it doesn't take long, meaning you don't have to spend long periods of time on each section, it does dust, but it does require a follow up with a lighter polish.

Re: Power Gloss

Should I use the Power Gloss with a rotary or PC ? I have both machines . Also if you recommend rotary should I use wool pad or foam ?

Re: Power Gloss

Use the rotary and a wool pad for best results.

Re: Power Gloss

There's a chart that was on AG that shows:
PG=removes 1000 grit
SIP=removes 2000 grit
Nano=removes 2500 grit

Re: Power Gloss

Any experiences with a PC?
I've always wanted to get some PG, but I have a PC and I'm not sure it will work well with it...

Have had my PC for several months now and not used it yet , hope to soon . I am still confused as to which pad goes best with which polish though . I am sure someone here can get me straight . Thanks

Well, if it's anything like the other Menzerna polishes I have like PO85RD3.02 and 3.00 then the orange pad will work great, and finish LSP ready. The thing with the PG is that I haven't read enough reviews to get a feel for it. I would think with a yeallow cutting pad, followed by and orange pad would give me the results I'm after, until then, I would wait for the Flex to be off the backorder list and order one

Re: Power Gloss

I have used it numerous times and it works best with a wool pad. then just follow up with polish and a foam pad. I have been working with menzerna for over three years and this is the best combo.
