| | | Topping Carnauba with WOWA Sealants? Was wondering if many are topping carnaubas with one of the WOWA sealants (like OS, ZCS, or PGP)? From what I've read the WOWA sealants may dissolve some of the carnauba layer even after it is cured. Just looking for feedback. |

| | | Re: Topping Carnauba with WOWA Sealants? I havent done it for the above reason, and warnings from some that the wax almost clouds under the sealant and might not look as clear and bright as prior. I only use the WOWA with paint sealants and to date find Zaino CS the best offering and easiest to use. |

| | | Re: Topping Carnauba with WOWA Sealants? I have topped Clerkotes Carnauba Moose with Opti-Seal. I waited about 48 hours and then gave it an ONR wash; the Opti-Seal seemed to cure fine over the CMW and added more of a bright glow to the paint.Although, I would suggest waiting atleast 24 hours (to make sure it has fully cured) and wash the car before topping a carnauba (to remove any oils the you didn't wipe off when you applied the carnauba) it seemed to work fine for me. As far as PGP goes, I believe I remember reading where David said it will eat through any wax that is below it. (correct me if I am wrong)

| | | Re: Topping Carnauba with WOWA Sealants? Yes David B. says PGP will dissolve the carnauba and does not recommend topping a carnauba with PGP. David G. (Optimum) talks about the carnauba possibly "migrating" into the OS?
Thanks for the comment about topping CMW with OS....I will try that. |

| | | Re: Topping Carnauba with WOWA Sealants? AW works good over a carnauba and gives a slightly different tone, I liked the look when topping NB, Souveran, or CG5050 with it.
