Menzerna Polishing Compounds of Germany has set new standards for workability, uniformity, performance, and quality. Why else would Mercedes Benz use Menzerna polishes to perfect the finishes on their brand new vehicles?

Doing a detail right now and have a question...

OK, i am working on my car and i have 1/2 of my driver door, driver side front quarter panel, and the front and rear bumpers...idk how much time that is going to take me to finish with the pc but its already 7pm, its idk about 40 degrees max and i still way to apply VMG, RMG, and wax...

my question is this...if i dont finish tonight and i want to finish first thing in the morning at work (dealership) would driving a car without wax for 20 minutes be ok?

i mean tonight it can stay under the cover thats no big deal...but i just want to see whether or not this is ok to do?

Thanks!

You'll be Ok. Just take a deep breath You'll be just fine.
Just bring a QD with you and give the car a quick cleaning and you'll be ok. At least thats just my opinion.

You will be fine... get some rest

Just make sure the finish is CLEAN when you resume polishing... I'd do a quick ONR.

You said it, you wont be able to prevent the frost...so don't sweat it.

Since you drove it and since frost will be setting- If I were in your shoes I would give all areas that have yet to be polished a proper wash just prior to polsihing and not just a hit with the PW but that's just me. I would smack myself for causing damage..

Re: Doing a detail right now and have a question...

well im finished with the PC (completed all of the swirl removal and the car looks great from what i can see...and being that its winter time, im not going to sweat applying the RMG and VMP...im just going to get on a tough winter wax (Duragloss #105)...and then maybe 24 hrs later either come back with a second coat of it or a coat of SSII...

motorcity being that everything is polish, but i am driving into work tomorrow...do you think i should still wash it? or can PW be enough...whats your opinion...

Re: Doing a detail right now and have a question...

Instead of PW'ing just do like Mike T suggested... go over it with a good qd I would use ONR or PB S&W, that will be less work than PW..

Do you have ONR?
