Sealant Help

Hello all im some what new I have been reading for a long while. I also have been detailing my own car and some small jobs on the side for Five years. I used Klasse all in one and toped it with Klasse sealant glaze and in the morning I will top that with pinnacle souveran.

I was very unhappy with the Klasse sealant. my truck ( 2002 ord lightning) is metallic silver and the Klasse was very hard to remove and very hard to see unless walking around with a tripod light. what im asking is there an easier sealant to use in conjunction with my AIO and Souveran. I did search but there are so many my head is spinning with numbers and names.

SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!

Ps. i have an extra bottle of the Klasse sealant if any one would want to trade for another sealant. its only been used once.

Ive been using Wolfgang sealant and I have nothing but great things to say about it! It goes on easy spreads well and comes off with a single wipe. I also love the gloss that it gives.From observation it seems to last about 3 months before needing another reapplication and my car is garaged. Hope that helps

Another option is to use Klasse AIO (it's giving you a sealant protection), and then top it with Souveran.

Klasse SG is very finiky to work with. I have found 2 ways to apply SG... 1- WOWO, wipe the product on and wipe off quickly. You shouldn't be able to see the product ... trust yourself that you covered all the areas ... if you apply it too thick (visible) it'll be a PITA to remove, as you know. 2- Apply it very thinly again and let it sit on the paint overnight and come back and remove (after 12+ hours). The time in between 2 minutes - 12+ hours SG is very tacky and very hard to remove. Send me a PM if your serious about trading ...

I've been using Klasse for two decades, that is until something much better came along- Zaino, but that's another thread

Wipe On / Wipe Off method: apply to the first panel and then to the second, remove residue from the first panel and apply to the third panel, removing residue from the second panel, and etc
· As air is the primary catalyst for the acrylic to dry, low air temperatures and / or humidity may effect the time requirements.
· Residues should be dry when you buff them. If the residues are still wet, you are using too much product.

• Swipe Test: after sufficient drying times do a quick swipe test with your finger, if the paint is clear and no smearing or drag is evident, the residue is ready to be removed. If the area you have swiped is smudgy, or streaky, or there is noticeable product, then it has not had sufficient time to set-up, allow more time before your remove it.

I've used Optimum Opti-seal (OOS) over KAIO. Then topped with Souveran. When Souveran wears a bit, I do another layer of OOS. (Haven't noticed any problem w/ bonding over a well-cured carnauba.) Then Souveran again... FWIW

Four Star UPP ... hidden gem. Can use right over AIO !

i agree killer about the UPP! KAIO then UPP topped with Souveran spray wax is a good combo!
