Pausing polish over couple of days... Questions

I basically did a single pass on my hood on Monday night with Menzerna IP, looking great so far, a couple of swirls left to polish out, no biggie there BUT in the interest of "safety" I added a coat of NXT to protect the hood should I have to drive the car anywhere during the week knowing that it would be the weekend before I would have time to finish the polishing pocess

The question is... Do I have to re clay the hood to continute the Menzerna polish or am I good to go straight over the top of the NXT

Straight to polish since it sounds like you clayed recently.
Good thinking throwing on some protection until the weekend.
