    Re: Water spot advice

Hand sanded with foam sandpaper 3000 grit. I did three passes on the door panels and 4-5 on the hood and top. I used a bigfoot 6 inch with microfiber pad and did about 3-4 passes with the heavy compound. Polished it then ended with a wax. Looked like New when I was done. I did have another case on a black Mercedes that had it bad on the hood and trunk. I used the same process on two occasions because it resurface but it was to far into the clear coat so there was no fixing it.

The big question here is after all that work, will the car get wrecked again? Do you know what your doing as far as sanding?

It's not the only solution and highly advise not doing all that sanding and buffing as this method will give you premature paint failure living out there.

    Re: Water spot advice

Carpro has a water spot remover, MX7 has been suggested, and there are lots of chemical water spot removers esp if you search under boating products. Those are very nasty-whatever you do once you correct the situation take precautions to not let it happen again.
