What is the best way to tackle these wheels?

I have a 2015 Mustang GT with performance package wheels, and cleaning them is killing me! My brembos make so much dust and the nooks and crannies kill my hands.

My normal routine is soapy water and a wash mitt, but that takes way too long and is very uncomfortable.

My question is: What is the fastest, most efficient way to get these damn wheels clean?

Any reccomendations on a set of products and brushes?

Coating them will be a big help. Once coated a pressure washer will get them mostly clean and a quick agitation is all that should be needed.

For cleaning on those I'd use a lamb wool mitt for the faces, EZ brush for the barrels, and standard 1"-1/5" detail brush for the lugs.

Just use some flag tipped brushes for the face and spokes and lugs, then a ezdetail brush for the barrels.

Those spokes are big enough you can use a wheel brush

Wheel Woolies 3-Piece Kit, wheel cleaning tools, wheel brushes

CarPro Hydro2 Touchless Silica Sealant, spray on car wax

    You can thank me later.

Wheel woolies make cleaning wheels a breeze.

Hydro2 will help protect the wheels and make them easier to clean.

And since Hydro2 is spray on, spray off, you dont need to worry about getting in all the nooks and crannies of those wheels and banging up your fingers!

    Nice car

I use the speedmaster for in between and the mothers wheel brush for the faces and then a stiff low profile brush for the tires I like the tuff shine brush. Quick and easy and they come out looking new every time.

I agree with either some wheel woolies and/or the speed master brush.

I also agree in coating the wheels to make life easier on yourself.

I have had painted black wheels in the past. Not as many spokes as what you have. But I ended up using this boars hair brush on the face of the wheels. It is a very soft brush.

I also have one of these

Lug Nut Brush,Clean Wheel Brush, clean brake calipers, clean lug nuts, boar's hair wheel brush, best wheel brush, wheel lug nuts

This limited the marring I would get on the face of the spokes with other brushes.

For tire cleaning I use this. Probably the best tire brush I have used.

I have these wheels and the wheel woolies are perfect. If you clean them regularly you won't need anything beyond soap and water.

I wouldn't do those with the with the Daytona/EZ brushes. Betting they're like the Vette black wheels, single stage, and stupid soft paint.

This wheel was brand new... only 751 miles, and washed with a Daytona/EZ brush.

The Wheel Woolies are much softer, and safer.

The 3-piece is often spoken about, thing is... the little one is about useless.
    Jus' sayin'.

Then there are the Wheel Woolie Boars Hair Brushes.

1" brush that is GREAT for tight spaces, around lug nuts, even grills, headlights, badging, jambs, tight trim areas etc.

Typical wheel brush... just happens to be boars hair.
