    Correcting pads for GG6?

Can anybody recommend a correcting pad so I could pick up a few. Thanks. I will be using the Griots Garage 6.

I recommend Buff and Shine. The new Griots Boss pads work well on the GG6 according to Griots.

New Meguiar's Burgundy Foam Cutting Discs or Meguiar's Microfiber Cutting Discs.

You'll be BLOWN away at how well the new Meg's foam cutting discs finish!

I would also recommend 5" size THIN pads for your GG6 to maximize the machines rotation/correction ability.

Could I use those with the standard 6.5 plate?

NO! You need a "5 backing plate for 5" or 5.5" pads.

If you use a larger backing plate than pad, the plate will be sticking out further than the pad and WILL damage your paint!

Get the 5.5" backing plate from LC and either use the Orange flat, from LC again or the McGuiars MF cutting pad for cutting.
I like the black LC for finishing up. Good luck and take care.

    Hey fejcharson,

I know I work for Griot's Garage, and developed the pads. Aside from that, I also contributed to the development of Meguiar's DA Micro Fiber System as well.

There are two pads that will blow your mind-

BOSS FAST Correcting Foam Pad- combine with whatever compound you prefer...
    Insane pad rotation
    Cuts exceptionally well
Finishes better than any microfiber pad

    Micro Fiber FAST Cutting Pad
No foam to delaminate or tear
10mm micro fiber provides good contouring to body panels
    exceptionally durable...probably too durable
Cuts exceptionally well, and finishes nice with minimal micro marring.
    Machine Washable

I personally guarantee you'll love these pads for correcting.

    Thanks Brownie,

I'll give those a shot my self. We're always searching.
    Take care.
