Removing yellow stains from chrome rims

I have a person who wants a wash/wax and tires and rims cleaned. It's a Lincoln Navigator with 24" Victory chrome rims, the issue is they are yellowing.

I've never seen wheels do this. How would you remove the yellowing?

Already tried a brake dust/iron remover and clay with no progress.

Your question reminds me of when I was in the service and we would wait for the guy in the enlisted mans club that would forget to take his cover off. He had to either buy the bar a round or leave. Question like this w/o pics is about the same thing. LOL.

Did you try a high quality chrome polish with a Mother's Powerball?

Your reply reminds me of other responses I've had, they don't know how to do it either.

It's chrome rims, yellow staining, sorry you can't comprehend what these 2 factors are.

I've only spent 6 hours doing research for someone who's had success with this, and I've yet to find anyone.

Sorry, but it's not a joke to me, I'm trying to find a solution for a customer's car.

Try a solvent. Either a solvent based polish, cleaner, tar remover, or straight mineral spirits. Citrus based cleaners can act as a solvent also.

Understand you have spent 6 hours trying to figure this out. The AGO community is the best. you will get your answer. I have seen people ask questions like you. And some people asked for pics like custmsprty, cause he wants help. And you will get alot more people to help you if they can see what you are talking about.
