    Re: Detailing non auto things

I use speed detailer on chrome bathroom fixtures all the time as well as wiping down the outside of my washer and dryer.

That's what I recommend. Or diluted blue Dawn dish soap. Something straight out of the bottle would be the blue Method brand cleaner. Buy a dedicated sealer and apply whenever fluids do not bead. Typically once a year.

I've ironx'd the shower at my house, and did UC/GC on the gf's shower. DG 101 on her bathroom sink, Turtle Wax Ice Paste on her kitchen sink, Zymol HD Cleanse / Creame wax on my drums, and DG 101 on my cymbals.

When I was a kid, I was probably the only one around that would detail thier bicycle. After a good wash, I would apply some of my dad's Turtle Wax or Simonize then hit all the rubber and vinyl with dielectric fluid (silicone). I did the seat and handgrips....ONCE. Learned a valuable lesson that day. I was the MAN.

I put dlux on the entire shower. The walls bead a little but other than that it didn't work very well. I put it on the sink too and didn't really work

I took a spray bottle regular size added several heavy squirt of Klasse all in one polish. Shook it up. ... I've sprayed and wiped on metal parts in my bathroom, walls. ... Part I'm most impressed with is the overhead area by front door entrance was full of mold. Not only did I get most of it out I noticed a subtle water beading on foggy nights

Polished the entire bathroom vanity with my Flex and ultimate compound.

Sealed it with Klasse SG. That made the bathroom smell bad for a day. Wife wasn't thrilled with that one.

the polishing took all the oxidation off the gel coat of the poured marble, but deeper scratches stayed in it. I wasn't interested in hitting it with woolandpossibly burning through.

Buffed out some scratches my 2 year old put in our black Samsung refrigerator with a nail file. That came out great.
