    Re: Sealants

I have BFWD on my white avalanche and like it a LOT! I have also tried UPGP on it too. My paint is just white, no metal flake at all. I polished the hood till it was as good as the 2 polishes I was using was going to get. I applied 3 coats of UPGP. My opinion it had a pure glass look to it. So smooth. I would say it did not have a deep look like the rest of the truck with BFWD. One of the few times I could really tell a difference. Even had my son check it out and he agreed. Really they all work well, have to find the one you like the best.
As for collinite, I have never used any of them so no pros or cons

Mena Powerlock is also good but it's all in the eye of the beholder. You just have experiment and see what you like best for your truck

I am a big fan of Powerlock also but the bottle says to wait 3 hours before applying anything on top of it.

There are almost no "bad" sealants. Any of those mentioned above I'm sure are excellent (I haven't used all of them, one bottle of anything lasts me 2+ years). Even the cheap stuff is easy to apply and lasts for months.

Just a little personal opinion on Liquid Glass...I USED to be a believer, but after a period of watching the LG give up the ghost, not last for even a week, and leave the finish looking less than spectacular, I gave it up for good. There are far better things out there to use than wasting your time and effort with LG.
