Re: Discolored dashboard from sun or ??? any way to bring it back?
I am ordered the DP interior cleaner tonight. I will try to get some decent pictures tomorrow to post.
My preference is to try to clean it correctly and see if that helps.

Hum... where do you get the 50$ price tag from?
A can of leather dye costs 15$ here in Canada. In the states figure half that price, probably around 7-8$.
If dying doesn't do a good job, then by all mean spend the 200$ for a replacement... but why not try fixing it first?

Have you tried any dressing on it after you cleaned it? Maybe some hydration is all that is needed. May be worth trying it little by little.

Yeah, I think a good PDMS dressing like 303 should improve that a lot.

OK, my DP interior cleaner came in and I have tried it. There is some improvement, but not much. So you think I should rub on some 303 and that should help it? I can try that tomorrow.

Now that it's clean, the 303 should do its magic and make that look better, it may not be 100% but it should be better. Let us know.

I would try PoorBoys trim restore. It will take a few applications. Trim restore works from the inside out.

Put it on thick and rub it in with your hands. Do it as many times as you can stand then wait a day and do it some more. It looks dried out to me and 303 works but it takes a lot when it gets as dry as yours. I've run into these several times. There may be a better product out there to put on once you've got it looking good to seal it but I don't know of anything. I just keep putting 303 on when it looks like it needs more or when I think of it. I purchase it by the gallon. I use Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant as well. It might make a good one two punch after the 303 soaks in.

How many application of 303, would you recommend? I have done at least half dozen over three hours. I can't tell any difference. The more dramatic change was cleaning with the DP interior clean. I will take some more pictures when the sun comes out.
